About me

A little bit about me

Since my parents are both classical singers, I came into contact with music at an early age. My musical journey started with playing the piano for a long time. Later, my interest for classical singing was stimulated by singing in the National Youth Choir for Women (a department of Vocaal Talent Nederland). After this, I decided to study privately with my uncle, baritone Frans Fiselier. In 2012 I started my studies at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, where I studied with Sasja Hunnego and received coachings from Phyllis Ferwerda. And then in June 2017 I graduated with a 9 and distinction. If you would like to read a bit more about my time in The Hague, click here.

During this time I was a very lucky bastard and got to sing Dorothée in a production of the Dutch National Opera Academy. Also, I took part in Opera Mosset and Salone dell’ Opera productions and I sang the roles of Jane and stationmanager in the newly composed operas ‘All Rise’ and ‘De Grens’ by Jan-Peter de Graaff.

I followed courses and masterclasses in the Canto program in Zagreb and was part of the Hohe Messe tour, organized by the Royal Conservatoire and the Julliard School, in which I sang second soprano in the choir, directed by Ton Koopman.

After finishing in Den Haag, I continued my studies in Essen at the Folkwang Universität der Künste, where I now study in Masters with prof. Rachel Robins. Curious about my studies in Essen? Click here.

You can currently see me in Magelone & Peter (Nederlandse Reisopera), Goud! (Dutch National Opera/Opera Zuid) and Lied voor de Maan (Dutch National Opera/Opera Zuid).
